People seem to think that enough time has passed, but it's actually in recent memory. Certainly in my family - my grandma was crippled by polio in the 50s epidemic, and sadly there are still people today in the third world suffering from this debilitating disease.
On the plus side, India has managed to eradicate it, with no new cases last year.kushamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17348980220982246051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16009233.post-61775549080150452312012-08-04T14:18:48.588-05:002012-08-04T14:18:48.588-05:00Hi, I just wanted to thank you for your easy finge...Hi, I just wanted to thank you for your easy fingerless gloves pattern. I found it through another blog that pointed me to Ravelry. Anyway I wanted to get back into knitting again but found the idea of knitting a sweater too daunting. I have just loved knitting your gloves - I'm on my 4th pair so far. I love knitting them when I'm travelling as I don't have to think too much. I think we know what everyone is getting in their xmas stocking!! Thanks again. I know your last post was in April so I hope you get this comment. By the way, Michael's sweather is fabulous and Michael makes a very handsome model! It looks like I'll make that deadline as I have a year to go. Levels II and III are my next goals.

ObscureAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16009233.post-61470275455861262402012-04-06T21:28:58.519-05:002012-04-06T21:28:58.519-05:00As I cruise into the end of the MKII work, I am ve...As I cruise into the end of the MKII work, I am very appreciative of your effort at MKIII. It's funny how much a 7-pound cat can fill up the space in your life.

Congrats on your birthday (of course!) and submitting your Level 3 work. As I freeze at the thought of getting Level 1 underway, it's sure nice to know that a soon-to-be Master Knitter is just a shout away.

Enjoy the holiday weekend!Trish aka QAGeek @ Ravnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16009233.post-15107358673135440032012-04-05T00:19:01.146-05:002012-04-05T00:19:01.146-05:00That's a beautiful sweater!
